Kristi L Zink  CMT, LMT... has been doing massage for over six years and has taught Swedish massage at the Rocky Mountain Institute of Healing Arts.  She loves doing deep tissue and neuromuscular therapy to change pain and postural problems.  She also incorporates subtle energy techniques to increase flow throughout the body.  She works with each client to determine his or her wants and needs for each session.  Her pace is slow and strokes are long and flowing allowing space between joints and connective tissue which creates long lasting affects days after the massage.  She does hot stone, sports, prenatal, deep tissue and neuromuscular therapy.   She also has knowledge and skill in mud wraps, and salt and sugar scrubs.  She gives specific stretching techniques to help the client be proactive about his or her muscular health.  She has specialized in cyclist, runners and helping people who work at a desk all day.    Come experience her healing presence and naturally warm hands!

April Lopez...has been here for five years. In 2005 she went to the Denver School of Massage Therapy where they taught 15 massage modalities. Her favorites are chair massage, sports massage, Swedish, Sugar Scrubs and Herbal Wraps.

Nail Specialists and Estheticians

Desiree Carter...has been here for 5 years. She does waxing, facials and nails. Des is the fastest waxer in Durango. If it is your first time trying out a Brazilian or any type of wax she can get you through it with minimal pain. Her favorite OPI colors are INK, Lincoln Park After Dark and You Don't Know Jacques. She lives in Durango with her wonderful son Desmond who recently started Kindergarten and thinks he is a superhero.

Kathy Anderson...has been a licensed nail tecnician for 26 years and she still loves it!  She enjoys the people and she's a HOOT!! Kathy has four kids and her family is #1 in her life.  She loves horses and is a true western girl.

Jamilee Avitia... has been working in the health and beauty industry off and on for over fifteen years.  Her educational background is in therapy, business, and construction.  Her hobbies are taking care of her family, photography, modeling, Spaaah Shop family and clients, water recreation and coffee!
